Still harpin on about

the Arctic Monkeys....

I love their indie sound and the catchiness of their songs. This band oozes British dance music, and will forever remind me of pubbin' it in London for a semester. (Some call is Study Abroad)

I've still to really get to know their second album (Favorite Worst Nightmare), and their third (Humbug) is due out August 25! Humbug has around half of its songs produced by rock eccentric Josh Homme, the beating heart of Queens of the Stone Age and the drummer for Eagles of Death Metal. With Cream and Jimi Hendrix cited as inspirations, this album should well and truly ROCK.

live music

Drummer with over 12 years experience (I'm 23) looking for guitarist/bassist/others to play music with. I have a large house on 45th street to practice/jam in. (Have own kit) I love to play tons of different music....right now I'm really into the Arctic Monkeys, but will play a whole range of stuff- reggae, rock, alt, jazz, funk. Ideally, I'd like to play a few times a week, mainly on the weekends, since I work 40 hrs a week M-F. In college, I played with friends at house parties, just jamming and drinking... If playing and experimenting works out, I'd definitely be interested in playing some gigs; mainly I just love playing and the whole live show/gig thing isn't as important as playing house parties for fun.
Let me know!
Losers need not apply
P.S.- I rock.

I'm a few years late on these lads, but they rock! I first saw an article in Q music mag called "Who the F*#$ are the Arctic Moneys."

This is who f*#$ they are:
