Two 1/2 Brit-1/2 Americans

Also, coming early 2010, this blog will be no more. WHAT!? say you handful of American friends who read, even smaller group of Brits, and (I know cos of Google Analytics blog monitoring) the random Frenchmen who stumble across this.

I'm going to start another one with a friend of mine who studied in London with me. Like me, he's 1/2 English and 1/2 American. It's fate. And it will be hilarious and badass. It will have plenty of humor, sports, and I'm sure some movies and music. Who knows? Whatever falls into the hilarious and badass categories....

BOPE

One of the most EPIC movies I've seen to date: Tropa De Elite (Elite Squad) about crime and corruption in Rio's many favela or slums outside the city. Like all trailers, this one doesn't do the film real justice. If you have Netflix, and you're a guy/ like action movies and aren't afraid of violence, put this at the top of your queue. Based on real events in Rio's elite BOPE squad. Amazing. Thrilling. Straight gangsta.

Owen's Hat Trick

Michael Owen scored his first hat trick in a United shirt yesterday! It was a great win for us, considering that we ha FIFTEEN players out injured. (That's a whole team and subs!)
