The Good, the Bad and the Burnley

Ok, so I'll go ahead and get the shite out of the way- Manchester United, defending EPL champions, were BEATEN by Premiership new boys BURNLEY!!!

Oh Lawd. I mean, they were FIFTH in the Championship league last year, and only got into the Premiership via the playoffs. It has been 33 years since Burnley has enjoyed top-flight football. Looks like they plan on staying, on this form. What surprises me is that I'm not mad at them and making up my own cuss words like I normally do after a loss; I'm genuinely pleased for them. It's one of the beautiful parts of football- anyone, anytime, can beat anyone else. And they did it with class, too.
I must say, our team was balls. No one really stepped up; it was like they expected to win (and I'm sure they did). Looks like we're feeling the loss of Ronaldo...and the money-making pre-season tour to Asia, which I think didn't help the players rest after 40+ games last season...but no excuses for a rubbish display.

Here's the nasty goal that consigned us to defeat. I mean, if you're gonna lose.... and sorry abt the lame music, it's the only clip I could find...

And here's a nice POV on the celebrations (at the other end of the pitch). Keep in mind Burnley's population is less than the average Manchester United stadium's capactiy! They're lovin it.

Anyway....
The good news is that our law office just got the HIGHEST EVER mediation settlement in the area! Amazing stuff, really.
And with the bonus I got......Patron. Anejo. Get some.
